The "double planetary" mixer derives its name from its unique motion pattern. During operation, the low-speed mixing blades and high-speed dispersion disc rotate around the mixing vessel's central axis (revolution) while simultaneously rotating on their own axes (rotation). This compound motion generates strong shearing and kneading forces, causing materials to circulate comprehensively and achieve uniform mixing at both macro and micro levels.
The high-speed disperser (up to 2980 rpm) creates intense shear forces that break down agglomerates and ensure thorough dispersion of fillers, pigments, and additives – critical for battery slurries, sealants, and adhesive formulations.
The integrated vacuum system (achieving a vacuum level down to -0.09 MPa) effectively removes air bubbles entrapped during mixing.
