The VEM-500 vacuum emulsifying mixer is a multi-function system developed for producing stable emulsions, suspensions and high-viscosity pastes. Raw materials are heated and premixed in the water and oil pots, then drawn into the emulsifying pot by a vacuum pump. Inside the pot, a wall-scraping agitator keeps material moving to the wall while a high-shear rotor-stator homogenizer cuts particles down to 6 nm–2 µm. Because the pot works under vacuum, micro-bubbles produced during mixing are removed immediately, giving a smoother, more stable product.

★ 10L is the most popular laboratory model. The VEM series scales from 5 L lab units up to 1000 L industrial lines (see Table 2). All models share the same vacuum emulsifying & homogenizing principle.

* The 1000 L oil-pot capacity figure (800 L) is taken from the source data as published; verify against the final engineering drawing before quotation. The VEM-500 highlighted row is the subject of this page: 500 L design / 400 L working emulsifying pot, 7.5 kW homogenizer, 3 kW scraper.

Pre-mix: Raw materials are loaded into the water pot and oil pot, heated and stirred separately.
Vacuum transfer: A vacuum pump draws the pre-mixed phases into the emulsifying pot through pipelines — no manual pouring, less contamination.
Wall scraping: The two-way scraper agitator (10–120 rpm) continuously sweeps material from the jacket wall to the centre, creating a fresh interface.
High-shear homogenizing: The rotor-stator homogenizer (0–3000 rpm) cuts, impacts and shears the material in the narrow gap, reducing particles to 6 nm–2 µm.
Deaeration: Because the pot is under vacuum (≤ -0.09 MPa), bubbles generated during mixing are removed, improving fineness and stability.
Discharge: Product is discharged from the bottom valve or by transfer pump; the mirror-polished, GMP-compliant pot drains fully between batches.
Homogenizing and wall-scraping run together or separately for flexible recipes.
SUS316L contact parts, mirror-polished, three-layer jacket, full drainage between batches.
Vacuum deaeration and high-shear mixing deliver a smooth, uniform, bubble-free product.
Handles liquids up to ~80% total solids — creams, pastes, toothpaste, mayonnaise.
PLC/HMI sets vacuum, temperature, frequency and time; optional steam or electric heating.
Tank size, ports, heating method and control can be tailored to the line.
Cream, lotion, serum, shampoo, body wash, facial cleanser, toothpaste & dental cream, sunscreen.
Mayonnaise, salad dressing, peanut butter, sauce, honey, cheese, beverage emulsions.
Ointment, emulsion paint, coating, suspension, detergent, disinfectant.

A vacuum emulsifying mixer blends, homogenizes and emulsifies liquids, creams and high-viscosity pastes under vacuum. Typical products include cosmetic cream and lotion, toothpaste, mayonnaise, shampoo, ointments and industrial coatings.
They describe the same machine family. "Vacuum homogenizer mixer" emphasizes the high-shear rotor-stator homogenizer (particle size 6 nm–2 µm); "vacuum emulsifying mixer" highlights the vacuum pot, wall-scraper and separate water/oil tanks. The VEM-500 combines both.
All product-contact surfaces use food/pharma-grade stainless steel — SUS316L for the contact layer, SUS304 for the other jacket layers — mirror-polished to GMP hygiene standards.
Yes. The wall-scraping agitator (10–120 rpm, VFD) is built for high-viscosity pastes up to ~80% total solids, ideal for toothpaste, ointments and thick creams; the homogenizer dissolves insoluble powders quickly.
The homogenizer runs 0–3000 rpm and the emulsifying pot works under vacuum up to -0.09 MPa, removing bubbles during mixing for better fineness and stability.
Standard delivery is 30–40 days. Tank geometry, heating method (electric/steam), PLC/HMI and extra ports can be customized to your production line.
