The MAXWELL 100L vacuum emulsifying mixer is a GMP-grade batch reactor that blends, disperses and homogenizes liquids, creams and pastes under vacuum. Equipped with an upper (top)-mounted high-shear homogenizer and a wall-scraping anchor agitator, it produces bubble-free emulsions for toothpaste, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and food. The jacketed stainless-steel main pot supports electric or steam heating and cooling, while vacuum deaeration removes trapped air for a smooth, stable texture. It is the core emulsification unit in a complete cosmetic cream or toothpaste production line.

Wall-scraping anchor mixing driven by a frequency converter (VFD) for stepless speed control, so the same machine handles thin lotions and thick pastes by simply adjusting RPM.
High-shear upper homogenizer rapidly dissolves difficult surfactants such as AES, AESA and LSA during detergent or toothpaste production — cutting energy use and batch time.
Three-layer imported stainless-steel vessel with mirror (mittor) polish on all product-contact surfaces, fully compliant with GMP and easy to clean (CIP-friendly).
Integrated heating & cooling jacket — choose electric heating or steam heating; automatic temperature control holds the set point (e.g. 75 °C) and re-heats only when needed.
Vacuum deaeration draws materials in via vacuum pump and strips micro-bubbles during mixing, eliminating the porosity that causes shrinkage and texture defects.
Flexible discharge — bottom direct discharge or transfer by pump, minimizing residual waste.

Raw materials are charged into the premix, oil-phase and water-phase pots. After heating and pre-mixing in the auxiliary pots, the vacuum pump draws the batches into the emulsifying (main) tank. A central stirrer fitted with Teflon scrapers continuously sweeps residues from the tank wall, exposing fresh interface to the blades. Material is then cut, compressed and folded toward the homogenizer, where the high-speed rotor and fixed stator shear it into fine particles of roughly 6 nm – 2 µm. Because the tank runs under vacuum, any bubbles generated during mixing are removed immediately — yielding a uniform, glossy emulsion.

Ointments, syrups, nutritional and bio-product pastes, topical preparations.
Toothpaste, detergents, shoe polish, soap, fragrances — the upper homogenizer is ideal for stable, bubble-free dentifrice.
Sauces, jam, chocolate, butter, vegetable and animal proteins.
Paint, pigment, dye, coatings, adhesives and industrial detergents.
Custom configuration — pot volume, homogenizer position (upper/lower), heating method and PLC/HMI control tailored to your formula.
GMP-ready build — full stainless construction and sanitary polish simplify validation and cleaning.
One-line integration — pairs with filling, capping and labeling for a turnkey production line.
Global support — installation, commissioning and spare parts for overseas buyers.
It blends and homogenizes immiscible liquids and solids into stable emulsions and suspensions — typically creams, lotions, ointments, toothpaste and sauces — while removing air bubbles under vacuum.
An upper (top) homogenizer sits above the main pot and is easy to maintain and clean; a lower (bottom) one is integrated into the pot base. Upper models suit frequent recipe changeovers and GMP cleaning, which is why MAXWELL offers it as standard on the 100L unit.

Yes. The vacuum emulsifying mixer is a core unit in toothpaste manufacturing — its high-shear homogenizer disperses abrasives and actives evenly while vacuum deaeration prevents foam and shrinkage in the final dentifrice.
Typical emulsification runs 30–60 minutes depending on formula and heating profile; premixing in the oil/water pots overlaps to shorten total cycle time.
Yes, they are available as optional auxiliaries, each with independent heating and a 0–1200 rpm impeller mixer, so multiple phases are prepared in parallel.
